The Sweet Story of Tree City Cookie

I think my sense of hospitality came from my grandma. She always had people over and I remember so many childhood meals gathered in her breezeway with dozens of people. There was food, laughter, singing, and plenty of playmates.

When I started a family of my own I always wanted plenty of friends and family around. It was harder though now because I lived so far away from the majority of my family. So, we made it happen with friends who became family - until the pandemic shut everything down.

When that happened, it resulted in a lot of loneliness, depression, and anxiety. We couldn’t gather with others so instead I took this creative outlet and turned it into a full time business. There’s not much else I like to do now except design and decorate cookies and, of course, have friends and family over for fun, food, and games!
